Why High-Drive?

Traditional crawler bulldozers position the final drive and sprocket lower in the undercarriage, where they are exposed to significant forces and ground loads.

HBXG’s elevated-sprocket design moves the drive system higher and separates it from the main track frame.

The result is a distinctive triangular track arrangement designed to reduce the direct transmission of ground loads into the final-drive system.

HBXG states that this design can significantly improve transmission-system service life while also making major components easier to access and maintain.
